GDS
GLOBAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
A global distribution system (GDS) is a computerized network system that enables transactions between travel industry service providers, mainly airlines, hotels, car rental companies on one side and travel agencies on the other side. GDS can increase your hotel’s bookings and revenue by placing the hotel on more ‘supermarket shelves’ globally. This approach is particularly effective at capturing international corporate travelers. The number of bookings generated through a GDS generally outpaces that of direct bookings. While direct bookings are rising, and they do represent a significant amount of revenue for hotels, there are still more bookings being generated through the GDS than through hotel websites.
If you are not connected to the GDS, we will connect your hotel with more than 600.000 travel agents around the world through Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan and Dhisco and this service is absolutely free. Our fee structure is purely based on reservations delivered. No franchise fees, royalty fees, or marketing fees.
If you already on GDS, we can offer you a switch at no cost. Once you sign the document, your hotel will be switched within 2 weeks. If you are satisfied with your current GDS provider, you are not obliged to switch. We can promote your hotel with our other B2B and B2C partners. Benefits of the Global Distribution Systems
